Amish Magic Of Pennsylvania

BIG question of our world is what happens if there is suddenly no electricity, no gas, no technology use. Amish people never asked this question. Because they live their lives with no electricity or technology use. However, many congregations in USA are slowly accepting one by one achievement of what we call “our world”.

Lancaster county, Pennsylvania, is the oldest settlement of the Amish people in the world. The distinctive sign – riding the horse buggies and farming the land.  They don’t send children to public schools and their houses are very simple, without gas or bathroom. But some of them shop at Walmart, though.

Since this community is a tourist attraction for around 8 millions people visiting Pennsylvania every year, I could not skip it during my staying in Penn. Shooo-fly pie, Whoopie cake and Sarsaparilla or Birch Beer is something I recommend to try.
